When a fixed term ends you can offer a renewal on new terms. This letter sets out the new rent, term dates and any changed terms, with a tenant acceptance form — both parties signing creates a new fixed term without a full new AST.
The tenancy automatically continues as a statutory periodic (month-to-month) tenancy on the same terms.
